Bought different gorditas here to give them a try and there wasn't really anything exceptional, the filling were just okay in general, the barbacoa was good, both the picadillo and asado de puerco were just okay. The taste of the gorditas is really good, I just think they are a little to thick. The place doesn't look very clean or welcoming. Overall I don't see myself returning to buy their food, perhaps to buy their flour tortillas although I didn't try them, they do look very well made.

The lady gave my order to someone else and then she was like I gave it to you and I'm like why would I be standing here waiting for my order the food is okay it's not like before gorditas are the only thing good food no good

Finally got 2 C wut erybodys raving about the best gorditas, etc, etc....jst bought a dozen of plain gorditas 2 share with the family & I can honestly say that the smell in there was really enticing, but the taste just didn't "wow" me. I don't kno, guys..."I gotta catch a glimpse of these warlocks"....i think I'll go bak next week when we in the valley again...give em a chance 2 redeem themselves...convince my palate, tummy & hubby....we shall C... (Vincent Price laugh)

Recommendation from ArnieTex YouTube video for local recommendations. Truly such a great food experience to see everything be in house made and with its great taste. For any other southern, the fresh dough would fit so well as fried corn bread that I want to try with some rich chili to truly savor the juices that these gorditas can truly absorb and compliment.

Wow, my husband bought me the beans & cheese gordita, a carne guisada gordita & 2 flour tortillas with butter, absolutely delicious! I’m not a gordita fan, but I was amazed at the savory flavor of everything. I will definitely go back for some more when ny son from Austin comes down. The prices are very reasonable, too.❤️

The food is definitely hot when served. I loved this! I got 1 gordita de Picadillo, 1 of carne guisada and my sister got 1 chicharon and 1 of puero Salsa roja. First the godita was tasty, but the picadillo is not what I expected. Picadillo usually is like a guisado ground beef with spices and pieces of potatoe. Their picadillo is plain ground beef with no spices or gravy with boiled pieces of potatoe. The carne guisada really had not taste. The taste of the corn gordita overpowered the carne guisada. My sister liked her chicharon, it had a different taste than what she is used to but it's okay. She definitely didn't like the puerco en salsa Roja. The ingredients they use is not what she likes on this type of guiso. I guess you can say WE ARE TEX/MEX, and I prefer this style of food preparation. It's not to say I won't come back for a breakfast taco.
